Music played by Gert Heijnis
Gert says: "I was brought up on music. It is probably the greatest gift my
parents could give me. It started with ma singing us to sleep, while
music both classical and popular sounded around the house all day,
followed by playing harmonica, block-system flute (recorder), and later
the piano although the violin fitted me better. But it is a lonesome
instrument, so a guitar was bought and I started making my own music.
It never stopped since then. Choir singing.
Have been playing in a couple of bands until '85 and started a music studio. I have been recording music since I was a kid."
Recently, Gert Heijnis composed and played two viloin lines for Jasper Mook's EP Speechless.
